Have you ever dreamed of being a princess? I can’t help you with that goal, but I can help you serve up a delicious drink fit for a princess; the Cinderella Mocktail. With a blend of four different juices, they are perfect for a Girl’s Night, New Year’s Eve, or whenever you need a treat. This sweet, fruity mocktail will please guests who don’t drink or can be used to share with the kids. If you prefer, you can fill a punch bowl, call it “Cinderella Punch” or “Princess Punch” and serve it at a Princess Party for the kids.

Easy Cinderella Mocktail Recipe

This is an adaptation of the original recipe I found years ago. I substituted cherry juice for the grenadine and lemon-lime soda for the ginger ale. If you prefer, you can use diet lemon-lime soda or diet ginger ale to save calories.

What You Need to Make the Mocktail

  • Lemon Juice (fresh squeezed is best, but you can use bottled lemon and lime juice if you are in a hurry)
  • Lime Juice
  • Pineapple Juice (if you’ve used a can of pineapple in a recipe and don’t need the juice, save it for this recipe!)
  • Cherry Juice (can use grenadine instead of cherry juice)
  • Lemon Lime Soda (can use diet soda or replace the lemon-lime soda with ginger ale)

Make it Glitzy With a Sugar Rim

Aren’t mocktails with that beautiful sugar rim even more fun? Not only that, they are easy to make. All you need is sugar and fruit juice. Here’s how to do it:

In a shallow bowl, add a thin layer of sugar. (Approximately 1/4 cup.) Spread the sugar across the bowl until it makes an even layer.
In another shallow bowl, add a thin layer of fruit juice. Dip the glass into the fruit juice and then into the sugar. Swirl the glass around to coat.
Set the glass aside and allow it to dry for 1 minute before using.

Other liquids to use besides fruit juice:

  • honey
  • agave
  • water
  • citrus juices, like lemon, lime, or orange
  • simple syrup

How to Make Fruit Flavored Rimming Sugar

Want to up the fun on your mocktails? Make a fruit-flavored sugar rim. All you need is:

1/2 cup freeze-dried fruit of your choice (strawberries, peaches, blueberries, cherries, or pineapples)
1/4 cup sugar- use regular granulated sugar or turbinado sugar

Place the freeze-dried fruit in a food processor and process for 5 to 10 seconds until the fruit is finely ground. Stir the finely ground fruit into the sugar. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.
